Description
Many women have a low sex drive or trouble having an orgasm. Some women are not bothered by this, but others are. A woman has female sexual dysfunction, also called FSD, when she is upset or unhappy about her sexual health. Studies show that about 33% of women have low sex drive. Of those, about one in three women are upset about having low sex drive. Thatâs about 10% of all women in the world.
There are several types of sexual dysfunction:
- Low sexual desire
- Trouble becoming aroused
- Trouble having an orgasm
- Pain during sex
Female sex hormones, or sex steroids, play vital roles in sexual development, reproduction, and general health. Sex hormone levels change over time, but some of the most significant changes happen during puberty, pregnancy, and menopause.
- Oestrogen:Â It helps bring about the physical changes that turn a girl into a woman. Estrogen helps control the menstrual cycle and itâs important for childbearing.
- Progesterone:Â Its level increases during ovulation and spikes during pregnancy. Progesterone helps stabilize menstrual cycles and prepares the body for pregnancy.
- Testosterone: It is commonly known as the responsible hormone for sex drive. Testosterone is indeed responsible for much of the female libido.
Femmetima Kacip Fatimah (Labisia Pumila) is rich in phytoestrogen and isoflavones.
